7 Gifts under $100 that Give Back

What better way to give than to give a gift that gives back to others and supports a cause that is important to you and your loved one?

We put together a list of gift ideas that support a variety of causes including providing clean water and food for those in need, supporting meaningful employment for adults with autism and the homeless, empowering and educating girls, saving the lives of shelter dogs and cats, and many more.

Not only are all these gifts under $100, but you can also feel extra good about the fact that your gifts have purpose…because where you spend your money matters. ❤️

1) LottoLove tickets

LottoLove tickets | Winni Wednesday

We have a whole lotto love for this gift that gives back (pun intended)! LottoLove makes it fun and rewarding to give the gift of giving in a unique and engaging way.

Just buy a pack of scratch off tickets (you can choose between supporting basic needs or supporting girls and women) and you’ll get beautiful and environmentally friendly greeting cards to go with the lotto tickets and the instructions.

Every card is a winner (for a cause), and your recipient will scratch to reveal exactly what cause their “winnings” are going to. Your loved one can win things such as supporting a young girl’s elementary education in Africa, supplying weeks of clean drinking water for those in need, or distributing nutritious meals for the hungry.

These cards also make great party favors and are a fun to pass out around the dining table to get everyone in the giving (back) spirit!

2) cuddle + kind hand knit dolls

If you’re like me, you’re struggling to find new gifts to buy the little ones this year. Well, look no further than cuddle + kind. These beautifully designed (and ethically produced) cotton hand-knit dolls just feel special. And they have designs that are perfect for both boys and girls (including most adorable baby animal collection). It’s no wonder they won the “Best Toy Award” four years in a row and are loved by famous moms like Jessica Alba and Gwyneth Paltrow.

For every doll purchased, cuddle + kind donates 10 meals to children in need all over the world (including right here in the US). More than 19 million meals have been donated to children so far. So, get the kids involved in the giving this year and let them know what their gift did to help others.

3) Popcorn for the People

Popcorn for the People is a nonprofit organization started by a proud father who wanted to create meaningful employment for his autistic son. As a non-profit, 100% of their profits go towards creating lasting employment opportunities for autistic adults and those with development disabilities.

4) Tory Burch Foundation Seed Box

Tory Burch Foundation Seed Box

Not only are we huge fans of Tory Burch and all the things the Tory Burch Foundation does to help female entrepreneurs, but we are also huge fans of the 2021 Tory Burch Foundation Seed Box. This limited-edition keepsake box features a selection of products created by women entrepreneurs including a scarf designed by Tory Burch, a stationary set by Little Postage House, a vegan floral body oil from Terra Beauty, an embroidery kit from Apprvl, a rose quartz Gua Sha tool from Mount Lai, a perfume rollerball from Sana Jardin, and a light roast blend from Circadian Coffee.

Plus, 100% of the net proceeds benefit the foundation which empowers and educates women and women entrepreneurs. Now that’s a win-win for women everywhere.

5) Cotopaxi’s camp cup

We could go on and on about Cotopaxi -- a B Certified Corp that designs "gear for good" and gives back to nonprofit partners that are improving the human condition and alleviating poverty. 6) The Giving Keys custom necklaces

Singer-songwriter and actress Caitlin Crosby was inspired to start this jewelry line after she had the idea to engrave inspirational messages on unused keys, wear them as necklaces, and pay it forward by giving them to others that needed messages of love and hope.

She started by paying locksmiths to do the engraving but was soon inspired by a homeless couple she met living on the street. She bought them the equipment to be able to engrave the keys themselves and gave them a job. The company has blossomed from there and now works to employ many others transitioning out of homelessness.

They even have a blog where you can share your stories of “paying it forward” when you give your key away.

There are so many good gifts to choose from – necklaces, earrings and even bracelets with keys -- but we are really loving the Custom Collection which gives you the ability to choose which style key, chain, color and word you want for your loved one.

7) Conscious Step socks

Ok, so we all know the old cliché that no one wants socks as a gift, but trust us, these are socks are different.

Conscious Step socks

Conscious Step makes super soft and cute cotton socks that give back to a variety of causes. And the best part? YOU get to choose from 17 different causes so you can give back where it matters most.
