Caramel Bread Pudding

Warm, gooey caramel envelopes the sweet bread pudding…the perfect end to a cozy meal.

Hemingway Daiquiri


• 6 slices bread, day-old, cut into 1/2-inch cubes (about 7 cups)

• 1 cup water, hot

• 1 cup brown sugar

• 4 eggs, lightly beaten

• 2 cups milk, warm

• 1⁄2 cup sugar

• 1⁄2 teaspoon vanilla extract

• 1⁄2teaspoon cinnamon, ground

• 1⁄8 teaspoon salt


1. Place bread in greased 2-qt. baking dish.

2. Combine water and brown sugar; pour over bread.

3. Combine remaining ingredients; pour over bread.

4. Bake at 350 degrees F for 50-60 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.

5. Serve warm or cold.
