Pair this savory knockwurst with potatoes or a side of sauerkraut.
· 1/2 cup chopped onion
· 2 tablespoons butter
· 3 tablespoons sugar
· 1 teaspoon dry mustard
· 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
· 1/4 cup honey
· 1/4 cup vinegar
· 1-2 pounds knockwurst
1. Cook onion in butter until soft, then whisk in the sugar, mustard, cloves, honey, and vinegar.
2. Add knockwurst to the sauce and simmer for about ten minutes, covered, or until wursts are hot and glazed with the sauce.
