Oktoberfest Zinzinnati - Cincinnati, OH

September 14 – 17, 2023

We are kicking it off with the largest Oktoberfest event in the U.S. which draws over 500,000 visitors annually. This year it will be a 4-day festival rather than the usual 3-day event, which allows for more entertainment and activities. Oktoberfest Zinzinnati kicks off with the tapping of the keg and the ‘Running of the Wieners’ - a mad dash of more than 100 dachshunds dressed like hot dogs that are set free to race for bragging rights (and hopefully a treat).

With the Rocky Mountains serving as its beautiful backdrop, it’s no wonder the Denver Oktoberfest is the second largest Oktoberfest event in the U.S. The two-weekend event began in 1969 and in 2022 had over 40,000 attendees. Along with a plethora of Bavarian foods, there are activities such as Keg bowling, stein hoisting, live music, and a long dog derby to enjoy.

Frankenmuth Oktoberfest - Frankenmuth, Michigan

September 14 – 17, 2023

Frankenmuth is known as the ‘Little Bavaria’ of Michigan due to its traditional Bavarian architecture which makes it the perfect place to host an Oktoberfest celebration. It was also the first Oktoberfest in the U.S. to receive a blessing from Munich’s original Oktoberfest. During the 4-day event in mid-September, attendees can enjoy polka dancing, authentic Hofbrauhaus Oktoberfest beer, souvenirs, and delicious food.
