HOTELS/RESORTS
Southernmost Beach Resort
“Great spot from which to enjoy Key West. You can walk Duval or Whitehead for a great selection of bars and restaurants. This is a beautiful hotel with nice pools, beach access and pool bars and restaurants. It's probably a little pricier than other KW locations but the staff is great, and it is in one of the best spots on the island.”

Havana Cabana Key West
“The hotel lobby, room and pool area is very nice; there's a great Cuban vibe, but what I was most impressed with was the staff. We were met by some of the nicest people we've ever met from the front desk to the pool attendants to the food servers and back. A special shout out to Kendra at the front desk. There was a bit of a mix up with our room and she was very gracious and made arrangements quickly and professionally. Our stay there turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip.”

Ocean's edge Resort & Marina
“Our stay at Ocean’s Edge Resort & Marina exceeded expectations. The artistic touches with the decor throughout the resort were really beautiful, everywhere was clean and well-maintained, and there were many great included activities for guests which could be enjoyed by adults and children alike.
The real stars of the resort were the staff. Starting with Da’rel who checked us in and impressed with his helpfulness and welcoming energy. I immediately felt good about choosing Ocean’s Edge.”

RESTAURANTS
Kennedy Café
“On our last day in Key West doing laundry on the street, we really just stopped here for a snack. This is a no-description storefront, so we were surprised by the extensive dining menu. Everything we tried was great, chicken soup, falafel, hummus. Hopefully we'll have time to come back for a full dinner. All menu items look like classic Eastern European and Mediterranean (think Turkey) dishes. The service is good. The European market next door is also a gem.”
Favorite item on the menu at Kennedy Café: Chicken Soup, Falafel, Hummus.

Pepe's
“We headed to Duval St. and happened upon this place which looked like an old run down garage. We noticed a small enclosed patio so decided to investigate and boy are we glad we did! It was happy hour, and the beers were cheap and ice cold. We shared a dozen extremely delicious and reasonably priced oysters that we have since told several other travelers about. We ended up going back for drinks and oysters 2 more times during our week long trip. For dive bar fans this is one of the best!”
Favorite item on the menu at Pepe’s: Oysters on the half shell.

Bagatelle
“We stop here every time we go to Key West! The restaurant was built a historic home right on Duval Street near Mallory Square, and the front porch is the perfect spot for some of Key West’s best people watching. They even have a ‘breakfast hangover’ happy hour from 9-11:30am with tapas style plates and drink specials.”
Favorite item on the menu at Bagatelle: Their famous lobster mac ‘n’ cheese!

EXPERIENCES
Key West Butterfly & Nature Conservatory
“This place is amazing! You walk into a world of color you have never seen before. There are all different types of butterflies and very colorful small birds. I have never seen that many butterflies in my whole life. It is small but there are spots to stop and watch everything going on. They have 2 flamingos as well just hanging out. This place was breathtaking, and I highly recommend doing it. Doesn't take long but you will want to stay there forever but it’s kind of humid.”
Favorite thing about the Key West Butterfly & Nature Conservatory: The butterflies.

U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Ingham Maritime Museum
“Absolutely fantastic experience. I have been to Key West several times and the tour of the Ingham is by far my favorite activity. Most items on the ship have remained as-is since decommissioning. If you are a history buff or find military ships interesting, this tour is for you!”
Favorite thing about the U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Ingham Maritime Museum: This was more than just a Coast Guard Cutter, it was a navy warship that had a mound of decorations. Well worth going.

Hemingway House
“Went to Key West for a nice weekend. You have to see the Hemingway House. It's very interesting. It's perfect. You get a better sense of what his life was like with his wife. Our guide was great and he told great stories, but I can't quite remember his name. Oh, and don't forget to take a look at the cats!”
Favorite thing about Hemingway House: Enjoyed the trip. The guide was very knowledgeable and friendly.
