HOTELS/RESORTS

Bobby Hotel.png

Bobby Hotel

“The vibe throughout the hotel is cool and classy as is the decor. The basement bar is a darkish dive bar and the rooftop bar has a great view and individual pods with heaters in the winter and a remodeled bus for seating and drinking.”

Other tips while visiting Nashville: “If you are going to eat and/or party downtown go ahead and spend the money to stay downtown and walk a little.  Take the Nashtrash tour for a comical way to see the city by tour bus.”

Bob M. – Pulaski, TN

Moxy Nashville Vanderbilt.png

Moxy Nashville Vanderbilt Area Hotel

“Moxy Nashville Vanderbilt Area Hotel allows you to be a retro hotel guest. I was able to explore the raw, uncut world of travel in contemporary settings throughout the hotel. I came across some board and card games that gave just the right throwback touch. Being in the comfort of my room was tremendously therapeutic. Most of all, the music soundtrack that played was a mean collection of today's music and old school tunes. The hotel is right for the pockets and in a convenient location.”

Other tips while visiting Nashville: “Nashville is known as the Music City and indeed it proved its point. As I get older, adventures are what I live for.  Nashville's food, lodging, attractions have persuaded a visit back.”

Ronerra R. – Phoenix, AZ

RESTAURANTS

Loveless Café .png

The Loveless Café

“This true country cafe is still within the city limits of Nashville; however, pretty far Southwest of the downtown core. There might be a wait; however, this is some good country cooking, and it is well worth the slight delay.  The Pimento Cheese and Bacon Burger was my choice.  I had a side of caramel apples and hashbrown casserole, both excellent side additions.  The service was super friendly, and I cannot wait to return again.”

Favorite item on the menu: Pimento Cheese and Bacon Burger

Martin's Bar-B-Que Joint.png

Martin’s Bar-B-Que Joint

“Martin's has been a favorite of ours every time we visit our daughter who lives in Nashville.  We love the wings that have a dry rub, and all their sauces are great!  If you are brave, you can try the Devil's Nectar sauce. The BBQ is delicious and they have great sides like potato salad, slaw, and their green beans are the best we have ever had at a restaurant.  I believe everyone would find something they would like to eat at Martin's!”

Favorite item on the menu: Wings, BBQ, and green beans.

“Family owned and operated for over 85 years with an ultra-friendly and knowledgeable staff and bartenders that know how to pour a good drink. An old school classy, decorated interior that serves the best steak in town only after you have been served hot corncakes with butter as a free app while you wait. Mouthwatering!!!!”

The Parthenon Nashville.png

The Parthenon at Centennial Park

“The Parthenon is in the center of Centennial Park, Nashville's premier urban park. The re-creation of the 42-foot statue Athena is the focus of the Parthenon just as it was in ancient Greece. Both the building and statue are full-scale replicas of the original. They often have exhibits inside and Centennial Park is a nice reprieve from Downtown Nashville.”

Favorite thing about the experience: “The building and the Athena statue are both full-scale replicas of the Athenian originals. It's beautiful!”
Sibrina R. – Nashville, TN
